In the year 23,457 of the Second Era, humans are long gone, they abandoned the wasted planet for bases orbiting the Europa and Io, Jupiter Moons, they found valuable minerals and water, abundant lifeforms in the deep oceans of Europa promised food for the whole Humanity for generations, and the strong gravitational forces acting on Io creates enough internal heat on the moon so that they can generate electricity as the sunlight at this distance does not generate enough power to sustain an advanced civilization. As Humans left, Earth healed again after thousands of years and opened the possibility for other species to thrive and evolve.
ArtMonkees is one of the species of this new world, full of life. They developed writing long ago, and learned from the relics left from humans, the ancient languages of the abandoned world. They studied the history of the old primates and learned from their mistakes, they created a council to help guide their path to a future without starvation, poverty, and diseases. Their whole economy is based on NFTs in an ancient and reliable tech from the old world, the Blockchain. A technology so advanced and incredible that endured even after the old primates left Artden, how the planet is called now. Everything in their economy is art-based in some way.
But nothing is that pretty right forever, right? The power of the Council has grown and corrupted those leaders, war and chaos developed and society broke and lost their unified goal, they became tribes and they developed weapons, a strange disease turned a whole tribe into zombies and now ArtMonkees are out here, making art, parting hard, having a lot of fun, playing games and everything they built was lost, but really, after enjoying the world with chaos in the mix they started to realize that a perfect society was boring as fuck, and now the world is much more adventurous and fun than it was before the great war of the first Era. You gotta see this from the bright side always, as they never developed nuclear weapons as this is just fucking wrong, right? So the post-apocalyptic ArtMonkees’ world is actually quite cool and paradise-like… well except for the zombies…

ARTMONKEES | GEN1
We launched ArtMonkees Gen1 and we sold out in under 4 minutes, 5000 unique NFTs, it was crazy! I always had the dream to launch a toy art product IP, I designed several in the past and but launching a physical toy is a very complicated journey through logistics, but NFTs are collectibles and I always were a digital artist, so it totally made sense to me to embrace this great medium and dive deep into WEB3. Nothing in my life made me prouder of myself than launching ArtMonkees! The community is great, the project is beautiful, I enjoyed the whole process from ideation to the finish line.
ARTMONKEES | GEN2
After the success of the first collection we started working on the second batch of 5000 NFTs, and I invited four more artists to make the project the way I envisioned, an art toy as a canvas for me and other artist to create art on top of it. Together, Henrique EDMX Montanari, Danilo Silveira, GuavaDeArt and Nadiia Forkosh and I pushed the limits and delivered an even more appealing collection than the first one!
A.I. MONKEES | OG COLLECTION
We wanted to reward our OG users that were diamond hands and kept their ArtMonkees in their wallets for the first 6 months of the project and we created a commemorative collection of 3600 unique NFTs generated with the aid of a A.I. Back at the time the likes of MidJourney or Dall-E were still in their early days and didn’t have Image to image capabilities, I was already experimenting with several A.I. solutions and took a deep dive into generative systems to come up with a solution that had a pleasing and artistic output, something that I would feel proud to share as a A.I. collaboration.
AUGMENTED REALITY
ArtMonkees allowed you to connect your wallet to the website and download your NFTs in the form of an AR friend so that you can take your ArtMonkees with you anywhere you go, take picture with your friends or make memorable pictures in the worlds most iconic places. With ArtMonkees you’re never alone and the fun is always on!

ArtMonkees were among a few selected NFT projects to feature on a NFT art fair that happened in Times Square - PLINFT 2022, only a handful of projects were able to make the cut, it was a total success!
