This spot we had a lot of creativity freedom from the beginning 'till the end of the process. This version does not reflect the client vision as some of the characters are not real wazers, such as the crashed wazers, cops and traffic agents, they are not present in the real film, but I think they help to better tell the story, so they are here in the Director's Cut.

This spot we had a lot of creativity freedom from the beginning 'till the end of the process.
What is a map? It is the representation in a 2D environment of the real world, and what I wanted was to bring this back to the 3D world but with the idea of a tridimensional mini map.
The technique chosen was Tilt-Shift Photography and 3D animation for the Wazers. It was the first time Waze made a 3D visualization of their iconic characters.
The story behind this spot is to bring one of the most important sport narrators of Brazil, Silvio Luiz, to guide you through the city transit during the Football World Cup of 2014.
